Flyer Delivery Job Description
OVERVIEW:
Our team of delivery professionals hand-deliver flyers to select neighborhoods throughout the Twin Cities metro area! We are looking for Walking Delivery ONLY – OR – Walking Delivery who would also be willing to DRIVE if needed.

ABOUT THE JOB:
The specific delivery times are Monday- Friday 9AM-12PM, 12PM-3PM or 9AM-3:30PM (with a 30 minute lunch break)
Come to the office, pick up your flyers and delivery area map. Your contract size will be based on your schedule and the availability of contracts.
The weekly contract includes local businesses flyers and the map of your delivery area. Although we deliver throughout the metro area, our delivery manager works hard to keep your deliveries close to home when possible. Our most delivery contractors are expected to work 3 or 6 hours per day and can walk between 7 and 10 miles daily. That includes going up and down stairs.
We do not knock on doors or talk to homeowners so most people listen to music, podcasts and audiobooks while walking.
Bring your completed contract back to the office when finished and pick up your next one.
PAY:
$16 - $20 an hour plus PTO
We offer bonuses for delivering quickly. If you deliver faster you can make more money. The harder you work and the more you deliver the more you can make.
Paid bi-weekly
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of working 15 (daytime) hours per week Monday - Friday
(9 AM - 12 PM, 12 PM - 3 PM, or 9 AM - 3:30 PM).Must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle and personal auto insurance
Must have a working smartphone
Ability to travel to various parts of the outer Twin Cities metro
A "get er done" attitude
Able to regularly communicate with our delivery manager via text message or phone call. +++

Recently, our company was sold to a local marketing expert who is breathing new life into the organization. We are growing and looking to build out our flyer delivery capacity as more Twin Cities businesses are reaching out to work with us.
Operations Specialist
JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Specialist supports the daily operations of Paperboy Marketing by managing contract staging, inventory, supply orders, and employee onboarding. This role is also responsible for reporting delivery totals to clients on a weekly basis to ensure clear communication and accountability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Stage Contracts:
Prepare and organize contracts for new and existing contractors.
2. Inventory Management:
Track and maintain inventory levels for flyers and other necessary supplies.
Regularly review inventory to ensure sufficient stock is available for operational needs.
3. Order Flyers and Supplies:
Place orders for flyers and supplies as needed, ensuring timely delivery for ongoing projects.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure correct quantities and specifications are met.
4. Onboarding Contractors:
Conduct the onboarding process for new contractors following the Onboarding Checklist.
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and equipment or materials are provided.
5. Offboarding Contractors:
Manage the offboarding process for contractors, ensuring all paperwork and returns of materials are completed efficiently.
6. Weekly Delivery Reporting:
Compile and report weekly delivery totals to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
Maintain clear records of delivery performance for review and client updates.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
Desire to learn delivery logistic methods and tracking systems.
Strong desire to onboard new employees.
Enjoys relationship building with clients.
Two years of work experience in warehouse, delivery, or customer service.
High ability to stay organized and carry out daily tasks in order.
Familiarity with computer databases, data entry, and reporting.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to be physically carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and rotate, twist, stand and sit.
PAY:
$20 - $30 an hour plus PTO
20 hours per week
8 am - 12 pm, Monday - Friday
Outside Sales Representative
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales & Client Acquisition
Build and nurture relationships with small business owners, including restaurants, salons, mechanic shops, and more, across the designated territory.
Present and sell Paperboy Marketing services, emphasizing the value of consistent, targeted campaigns.
Develop tailored proposals and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
Territory Management
Actively manage a high-volume sales territory, conducting daily outbound visits (20+ businesses/day) in the West Metro.
Identify high-potential neighborhoods and industries for growth, with the flexibility to suggest new strategies and opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management
Foster long-term relationships with clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor for their marketing needs.
Follow up regularly to ensure client satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Role Development
Help refine the responsibilities and scope of this new position by sharing insights, strategies, and ideas with management.
Collaborate with leadership to define best practices for sales processes, reporting, and client management.
Reporting & Organization
Maintain accurate records in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) to track leads, activities, and sales performance.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the sales process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably selling to small businesses.
Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Experience in marketing services, foodservice distribution, or POS systems is a plus.
Skills
Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a knack for building trust.
Excellent organizational skills to manage a fast-paced, high-volume sales territory.
Tech-savvy, with proficiency in CRM tools and the ability to provide insights for process improvements.

Other Requirements
Reliable transportation for daily travel within the designated territory (Minneapolis, Minnetonka, Shakopee, Plymouth, St. Cloud, Maple Grove).
Familiarity with the West Metro small business landscape is preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Base Salary
$50,000–$60,000 annually.
Commission
Uncapped (OTE $80,000+).
